Stages of Development
Where we are and where we're going.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)
Stage 1
Partnering with Churches
Partnering with churches and providing auxiliary assistance by offering weekly Bible studies and leadership training to capacitate local volunteers for successful ministry. Offer a few in-person events such as 1 or 2 retreats, VBS, half and full-day events. (Look at our calendar for more information) Networking and establishing social media platforms. Continuing the development of curriculum, and the research of sustainable methodologies for future implementation.
Stage 2
Site Acquisition
A Paramount part of our ministry will be hosting retreats, workshops, and events in our facilities where we can model and teach sustainable living. Acquiring the property will permit us to further develop the appropriate buildings.
Stage 3
Facility Development
As we strive to live and teach ecological sustainable methods, developing our facilities to be off grid and self sustainable will allow us to be a living model which churches and individuals can learn from and implement in their own lives.
Stage 4
Community Outreach
Simply What Matters will be mainly serving churches spread about the continental southeast, with a firm belief that those whom we will be serving and blessing will in turn be the hands of God locally in initiatives the community will be needing. We will begin by prayerfully assessing the needs of the local community, so we can direct our outreach initiatives to be most fruitful. Some examples of those outreaches may be a clothes closet, a food bank, a community garden, recreational activities for in-need families, interactive activities for seniors, a summer camp for low-income families, and others.
